Well, off to Lost Wages for the Ducati Dealer Meeting. I am sure they’re going to have some surprises in store for us. Here’s some pics of past meetings. They have promised lots of excitement in the next 12 months, and I’m sure we will have plenty to cheer about. Apparently there’s a rumor that Rossi will be there but I highly doubt that.

It is that time again! That’s right, the weekend when the ladies show the posers how it is really done, The 5th annual Womens Sportbike Rally at Deals Gap September 10-12, 2010.

The Women’s Sportbike Rally was established in 2006 by two sportbike junkies, Stephani McIntyre of Columbus, Ohio and Kiri Hunter of Cincinnati, Ohio. The two realized in 2005  that there was something missing in the sportbike community and banned together to create the first ever event, August 25-27, at Fontana Village Resort in North Carolina just down the curvy road from the famed Deals Gap aka “The Dragon.”

With very few events that concentrate on not only the woman sportbiker but also focus on riding, this event was created with those two main features by placing it amidst some of the most beautiful scenery and curvy roads in America. The Women’s Sportbike Rally simply brings together those women who are typically just one-of-the-guys to become one-of-the-girls for a weekend.

The rally openly welcomes ALL women sport riders, groups and guests regardless of age, ability or sportbike choice. With so much variety in this small yet bold community of women riders, you can guarantee that those who attend are as diverse and unique as the sportbikes they ride.

Once again, this year NPR Ducati will help sponsor Saturday nights Luau party! Taking place at the rally headquarters of Fontana Village Resort, the luau will feature music, libations, door prizes galore and delicious desserts to put a cap on the day!
