Middle America’s foremost motorcycle event starts Thursday-are you going to be part of it? All of you Ducatisti and everyone else for that matter need to get on your bikes and head out! We’ll be running up through the TN mountains and bopping along KY’s scenic country until we’re running up onto the Ohio river. Email me if you’re interested in joining up with us for some or all of the ride, paul@nprducati.com.
After that, on to the Brickyard! I hope you have all secured your tickets to the Indy Mile flattrack race Saturday night. Kenny Roberts is alleged to be taking a few hot laps on the TZ flattracker, a myth made real. Don’t miss it the second time-I promise you it will be the last and you can witness the tail end of a motorcycle legend. Be there or be square.
The Ironbutt competition is currently ongoing. Nathan and Dean went up to watch the kickoff last weekend. “Local” favorite Joel Rappaport is humming along on his airhead, I see from his tracker that he is currently in Indianapolis! Woo hoo and good luck Joel. He’s going to need well-wishing, as he competes on a 35 year old bike in the Hopeless class. He’s good fellow and keep him in your thoughts for luck!
See you at Indy!
